Dues
Annual dues for membership are due January 1.
Membership is available to any woman member of Del Mar
Country Club, spouse or significant other of a regular
member. All WGA members must be 18 years of age or
older. This fee allows play in weekly sweeps, Club
Championship, Guest Days, President’s Cup,
Member/Member, team play and other major tournaments.
This fee does not include WSCGA membership dues or
separate entries fees (i.e., Guest Days).
New
members joining after May 1 shall pay one half annual
dues.
Amendments to Standing Rules
Standing rules may be amended by a majority vote of
the Executive Board when a quorum is present at a
meeting of the Board.
Dress
Code
Appropriate attire will be worn on the golf course at
all times. This consists of golf skirts and blouses
(with or without collars), slacks, skirts, skorts,
Bermuda shorts (the length of skirts, skorts or shorts
are not to exceed 4 inches above the top of the knee),
culottes, Capris or knickers. Tank tops, halter tops
and short shorts are strictly prohibited.

Ringers
Ringer competition is held annual with pay-outs
awarded at annual year-end general meeting. There is
a $5.00 fee to enter.
Separate score cards from Thursday play should be
placed in the Ringer box in the Ladies Locker Room.
Winners will be participants recording the lowest
score for each hole during the Ringer competition
period.

Women’s
Sweeps Days
The
primary women’s play day is on Thursdays, followed by
lunch. Sweeps competition will also be scheduled on
Tuesdays when at least 4 women play.
Sweeps points will be awarded to each member of the
winning team. Accumulated points will be paid out at
the annual general meeting at the end of the calendar
year.
A
player must have paid current WGA dues in order to
compete in weekly sweeps. No one under 18 years of
age shall be permitted to accompany players on play
days.

Handicaps
Adjusted scores for ALL rounds must be entered in the
computer in the Ladies Locker Room. Signed scorecards
must be placed in the box next to the computer.
Nine hole scores should be entered and will
automatically record on 18 hold round when two 9 holes
have been posted.
If
you have any questions about posting your score, ask
the Handicap Chairperson. Your Handicap Card is
issued monthly and can be found next to the computer.
